The Europa League returns for the second leg of the semi-finals with two British representatives on the verge of exiting the competition at the last hurdle before the final.

West Ham fell to a 2-1 defeat against Frankfurt at the London Stadium after going behind within 49 seconds of the game kicking off. Michail Antonio levelled the score but Daichi Kamada landed a blow in the second half to seal up the advantage.

The Hammers must travel to Germany where they will be greeted by a cauldron of noise in Frankfurt. Away goals no longer count and an early strike for the visitors could set up a peach of a tie for neutrals watching on TV.

Rangers must also scramble their way out of a hole dug by German opposition with RB Leipzig. A late first-leg winner from former Man City wide man Angelino secured the advantage to Leipzig.

Leicester have fallen out of the competition and dropped into the Europa Conference League where they will continue to compete on the continent, while Celtic are out of European competitions altogether this season.
